Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

Prompt Response: I used to think that when some kids were quiet, they were mean and unfriendly or didn't want to be bothered by anyone. Later on in the year, I met someone quiet and got to know them, and they were nice and friendly.

Summary: This showed me that my "single story" about quiet people was wrong, and I had judged based on their body language.

Reflection: I now avoid making assumptions about people based on their behavior or stereotypes.
